Clearances

Becoming a Volunteer

In order to volunteer for any committee or activity, you must be an approved volunteer through the Gateway School Board.  Once you have completed the required application, submit it to Mr. Hoeltje who will then provide it to the district’s Human Resources Department.  Once HR confirms that your paperwork is in order, you will be cleared to volunteer. Volunteers are officially approved at each monthly school board meeting (3rd Tuesday of the month).

You must fill out the Volunteer application, and then proceed to get your clearances.  You will need to have the clearances BEFORE you begin working so APPLY NOW. EVERYONE SHOULD FILL OUT THE INDEPENDENT VOLUNTEER or COACH/SPONSOR APPLICATION.    NO ONE SHOULD FILL OUT THE ASSISTIVE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION. Everyone must apply for clearances and be approved through the School Board.
